HM King thanked by Youth Minister

Manama, July 15 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of thanks and respect from Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs Ayman bin Tawfeeq Al-Moayed for issuing decree 24/2020 on setting up clubs in the form of commercial companies, in accordance with the Commercial Companies Law. The Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs extended heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HM the King, stressing that the issuance of the decree is a historic milestone in Bahrain’s sport to press ahead with its development. He added that changing clubs into commercial companies is in tune with the royal vision embodied in the idea of Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the efforts of SCYS First Deputy Chairman, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee and Head of the Coordination, Execution and Follow-up Committee (Estijaba) His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs affirmed that the sport community in Bahrain is proud of HM the King’s support and looks optimistically at the new phase of Bahraini sport’s history which will contribute to boosting the status of national clubs to bring about more achievements.
