HM the King welcomes Saudi Monarch

Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has welcomed the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, upon his arrival here today heading his country's delegation to the 37th Summit of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which is due to kick-off in Bahrain later today. His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister also welcomed King Salman. Senior Royal Family members, Council of Representatives' Speaker, Shura Council Chairman, GCC Secretary-General, ministers, Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, Bahrain's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Southern Governor, senior BDF, Interior Ministry and National Guard officers, and members of Saudi Embassy in Bahrain were also present. After a short break at the Royal Protocols Hall at the Sakhir Airbase during which His Majesty the King and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques exchanged cordial talks about the outstanding solid deep-rooted fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and their brotherly peoples, the motorcade of King Salman departed to his residence at the Sakhir Palace. A Convoy of Honour, led HM the King's Personal Representatives HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, was formed. The Saudi Monarch is a accompanied by a high-profile official delegation.
