HM King's patronage of humanitarian work hailed

Manama, Feb. 3 (BNA): Her Highness Shaikha Al Anood bint Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, wife of HH Shaikh Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, Minister of Royal Court Affairs, hailed His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the principal supporter of Bahrain’s progress and prosperity march, lauding His Majesty's wise directives in supporting the humanitarian institutions, projects and programmes at the local and international arenas in accordance with international standards to achieve the welfare and prosperity for all individuals in the society. These remarks came as Her Highness patronized the 36th annual Charity Food Bazaar organized by the Mother and Child Welfare Society. HH Shaikha Al Anood expressed gratitude and appreciation of the tremendous efforts of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council of Women, in supporting humanitarian efforts and mustering the energies through effective institutionalized work. HH Shaikha Al Anood lauded Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka for receiving education officials and specialists on the occasion of the Bahraini Women’s Day dedicated this year in honour of women in higher education field. HH Shaikha Al Anood also praised the leading role of the Mother and Child Society in humanitarian work and its remarkable efforts in the field of education, including nurseries and kindergartens and the integration of specially abled children in the society and through the Al-Amal Special Education Institute, the Woman and Child Data Centre, the Child Library, all that contribute in creation of an educated and effective Bahraini society. HH Shaikha Al Anood praised the President of the Mother and Child Welfare Society, Shaikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa and Shaikha Ayesha bint Salman Al Khalifa for their humanitarian voluntary work following the steps of their late mother Shaikha Lulua bint Mohammed Al Khalifa who founded and dedicated her entire lifetime to the Mother and Child Welfare Society. HH Shaikh Al Anood also praised the Bahraini society’s charitable deeds including the unlimited support of generation after another of philanthropic Bahraini women who dedicated charitable food under their names.
