HM King's speech confirms trust in new generation, care about all residents, citizens: Information Minister

Manama, Apr. 13 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad's bin Isa Al Khalifa's speech to students were a powerful motivation on moving forward with their education despite the unprecedented challenges, Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi has said. HM the King on Sunday evening delivered a speech to students amid national efforts to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The royal address was aired through a video call during the “Be Aware” interactive program on Bahrain TV. "The speech affirmed at its core the trust of HM the King in the new generation and in their ability to take over national roles through their diligence and studiousness," Al Romaihi said. "It also stressed the close follow-up by HM the King of all preventive measures and the social and economic matters related to them, which reflects his concern and care about every citizen and resident in Bahrain." Bahrainis believe that inherent in nearly all challenges are opportunities for transformation, and thus they have the ability to turn difficulties and exceptional circumstances into success stories under the leadership of HM the King, he added. "Despite all the challenges, Bahrain invariably comes out stronger thanks first to God and then to the mutual trust between the leader and his people," Al Romaihi said. "While we have been keen on adhering to social distancing, we have structured ways that reinforce the culture of distant communication. The media have been crucial in keeping communication channels wide open, be it at the official level or through the public and private media or through social media and influencers. Everyone is contributing to the fullest of their possibilities and capabilities."
