HM King's support for education hailed

Manama, Oct. 4 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, has lauded His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s unlimited support for the educational sector, noting that interest in education and its affiliates is among the priorities of the next phase so as to further enhance Bahrain’s development and progress. In a statement marking the World Teacher's Day, marked on October 5 every year, the speaker appreciated the efforts exerted by Bahraini teachers to develop the educational process, spread science and promote values for the coming generations. He stressed that the World Teacher’s Day is an opportunity to praise the role of dedicated male and female teachers whose mission is to transfer science and knowledge to students. He pointed out that the Council of Representatives will always support teachers and all the educational staff in the kingdom through passing legislation and laws that would improve their conditions, enhance the quality of the services delivered to them and provide them with opportunities to improve their performance and skills through rehabilitation and training. He also affirmed that the Legislative Branch will contribute to paving the way for schools to enhance their performance, improve the educational and learning atmosphere and boost the educational process in the kingdom. Al-Mulla extended deepest congratulations to teachers and affiliates of the educational sector in the kingdom on the World Teacher's Day 2018, wishing them further success in carrying out their duties to ensure a better future for the coming generations.
