HM King's support to legislative work praised

Manama, Feb. 24 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his unflinching support to legislative work to serve the nation and citizens. He pointed out that the royal speech given in the inauguration of the second session of the fifth legislative term has determined priorities of the legislative branch and its key role in dealing with various challenges, in cooperation with the executive one. This came during a meeting of the Shura Council Chairman and members of the reply to the royal speech committee with HM the King to present him with the council’s reply to the royal speech. The Shura Council Chairman expressed heartfelt thanks and respect to HM the King for the care given to the legislative role of the Shura Council, stressing that his support is an incentive to build on previous achievements in consolidating the state of law and institutions. He reiterated pledge to implement the royal directives to achieve progress at all levels.
