Housing Minister receives Arab League Housing Director

Manama, Dec. 27 (BNA): Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Amena bint Ahmed Al Romaihi, received Director of the Housing, Water Resources and Disaster Reduction at the Arab League’s Secretariat General, Shahira Hassan Wahbi, and discussed with her ways of boosting bilateral cooperation. Al Romaihi praised the outcomes of the 39th session of the Arab ministers of housing and construction and the 7th Arab Housing Conference, which convened in Cairo, Egypt, in the middle of this month. She pointed out that the training session, organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning for the communication coordinators at the Ministries of Housing in the Arab League member states, comes within the framework of Bahrain’s commitment to hosting the website of the Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction Council. Shahira Hassan Wahbi praised the efforts of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to provide decent housing and improve the welfare of all segments of the community. It is worth noting that the training session hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain brings together the telecommunication coordinators of the housing ministries from 16 Arab countries, in addition to the representatives of the General Secretariat of the Arab League.
