HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with newly appointed Indian Ambassador

Manama, Feb. 1 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met remotely with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Piyush Srivastava. His Royal Highness stressed HM the King’s full support and commitment to Bahraini-Indian relations. His Royal Highness noted the ever-growing strategic partnership between Bahrain and India, especially during ongoing efforts to combat COVID-19. On this note, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister extended his appreciation for India’s role in addressing the global pandemic and the success it has achieved in its pharmaceutical industry. His Royal Highness wished HE Srivastava success in his new role before discussing regional and international issues of common interest.
