HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt

Sharm El Sheikh, Nov.7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, HE Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, at a reception hosted by HE Al-Sisi, for the distinguished participants in the conference at the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27), held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. His Royal Highness highlighted the depth of the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Egypt, which continue to strengthen under the unwavering support of both His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HE President El-Sisi. His Royal Highness conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad to HE El-Sisi, and His Majesty's wish for further development and continued prosperity for Egypt. In this regard, His Royal Highness praised Egypt’s success in hosting COP27. His Royal Highness commended Egypt’s pivotal role in safeguarding security in the Arab region and its effective efforts in cementing the foundations of regional peace and stability, as well as HE El-Sisi’s leadership in the ongoing development and progress in Egypt. His Royal Highness concluded by wishing Egypt further development and prosperity. During the meeting, the current regional and international issues, and topics on the agenda of COP27 were discussed.
