HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs

Manama, Nov. 17 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, HE Barbara A. Leaf, at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted the strength of longstanding Bahrain-US relations and the importance of furthering bilateral cooperation to achieve common goals. His Royal Highness commended the role of the United States, along with allied countries, in upholding regional and global security. His Royal Highness also highlighted the importance of consolidating regional and global security and stability to achieve common goals. The latest regional and global developments were also discussed. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Charity Educational Endowment, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
