HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets the US Embassy Chargé d’Affaires

Manama, Apr. 11 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the United States Embassy Chargé d’Affaires, Her Excellency Margaret Nardi, at Riffa Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted the depth of strategic and historic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, and the importance of further strengthening cooperation and coordination across various sectors. His Royal Highness noted the beneficial partnership in relation to COVID-19 efforts and in facilitating the provision of vaccinations to the Kingdom. Regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed. For her part, HE Nardi extended her gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness and noted HRH’s continued support to furthering Bahrain-US ties. The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
