HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the GCC Ministers of Finance

Manama, Nov. 8 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the GCC Ministers of Finance, who participated in the 114th meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee, which was held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of enhancing integration and supporting development, including economic and financial development, to realise the aspirations of the citizens of the GCC countries. His Royal Highness further highlighted the importance of building upon past successes and exploring new horizons, to meet the objectives and visions of their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC countries. His Royal Highness welcomed all the visiting ministers to the Kingdom of Bahrain and wished them every success in progressing the outcomes of the meeting. For their part, Their Excellencies, the GCC Ministers of Finance, expressed their thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his commitment to strengthening GCC relations at all levels. Their Excellencies, the GCC Ministers of Finance, noted the successful organisation of the 114th meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee, and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, HE Dr. Nayef Falah M. Al-Hajraf, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
