HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the newly appointed Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Bahrain

Manama, Dec. 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Alexey Skosyrev, at Riffa Palace. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the longstanding relations between Bahrain and Russia, emphasising the importance of further developing and strengthening joint cooperation and coordination to benefit both countries and its peoples. His Royal Highness welcomed the Ambassador’s appointment to the Kingdom and wished him success in his diplomatic duties. During the meeting, issues of common interest and regional and global developments were discussed. HE Skosyrev expressed his appreciation for His Royal Highness’s commitment to strengthening relations between the two countries to achieve common goals and wished the Kingdom further progress and prosperity. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
