HRH Crown Prince attends inaugural Ad Diriyah E-Prix

Diriyah, Dec.15 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today attended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s inaugural Ad Diriyah E-Prix held in Riyadh. HRH the Crown Prince expressed his pleasure at the opportunity to attend Formula E’s first fixture in Riyadh, noting that the Ad Diriyah E-Prix reflects Saudi Arabia’s efforts to promote the Arabian Gulf as a leading destination for sporting events HRH the Crown Prince noted that, as a UNESCO world heritage site, Ad Diriyah represents a truly unique location to hold a motorsport event, and went on to praise Saudi Arabia for its achievement in showcasing the Kingdom’s heritage to a global audience HRH the Crown Prince emphasised that the 2018 Ad Diriyah E-Prix, which featured the competitive debut of the Gen2 car, reinforces the region’s contribution to advancing motorsports HRH the Crown Prince concluded by noting that Bahrain takes great pride in its longstanding contribution to the F1 calendar and motorsport as a whole, highlighting in particular the role of Bahrain’s F1 stewards who were on the ground providing support to the Ad Diriyah E-Prix
