HRH Crown Prince of Bahrain congratulates newly-elected woman Speaker

Manama, Dec.12 (BNA): HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, sent a cable of congratulations to newly-elected Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawziya Zainal, who was elected during the procedural meeting at the opening of the first session of the fifth legislative term. HRH Crown Prince extended congratulations to the first woman speaker of the Council of Representatives, which is another achievement to be added to the Bahraini women's accomplishments and a great source of pride for the Kingdom of Bahrain, which spared no effort to empower women. HRH Crown Prince also congratulated First Deputy Speaker Abdulnabi Salman and Second Deputy Speaker Ali Zayed Al Naeb and wished them success.
