HRH Crown Prince congratulated by LMRA CEO

Manama, June 20 (BNA): HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today received a cable of congratulations from Chief Executive Officer of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Chairman of the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons, Osamah Abdullah Al-Absi, on Bahrain’s achievement to maintain for the second year in a row its Tier 1 status in the US State Department’s 2019 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) report in the Middle East and North Africa region. The LMRA CEO took pride in the new historical achievement as the first country in the MENA region to receive such honour in the field of combating human trafficking, which is a giant step that could not have been made without HRH the Crown Prince’s directives and acute vision that have contributed to placing Bahrain on top of list of combating human trafficking. He pointed out the unwavering support of the Coordination Committee that provided all the success elements to the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons, including this outstanding achievement. He stressed resolve to work harder to continue bringing more achievements to meet HRH Crown Prince’s aspirations under the comprehensive development process led by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
