HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister meets the UK Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa

Manama, Nov. 13 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, today received the United Kingdom Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa, Air Marshal Martin Sampson, at Riffa Palace. His Royal Highness welcomed Air Marshall Sampson and the accompanying delegation to the Kingdom of Bahrain and highlighted the importance of the strategic, progressive and longstanding partnership between Bahrain and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad commended the active cooperation between the two countries at various levels. His Royal Highness noted the significance of continuing to develop joint cooperation, particularly in military and defence coordination, in support of regional and maritime security. The latest in regional and international developments and issues of common interest were also discussed. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
