HRH Crown Prince meeting with the Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic

Manama, Mar. 20 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today received the Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic, His Excellency Guglielmo Picchi, at Riffa Palace. HRH the Crown Prince and the Italian Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs discussed a number of strategic issues and areas of shared interests, and highlighted the important role such bilateral visits play in enhancing cooperation between the two countries. HRH the Crown Prince welcomed the visit of the Italian Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs, and praised joint efforts aiming to strengthen economic and commercial cooperation between Bahrain and Italy. HRH the Crown Prince went on to emhpasise Bahrain’s commitment to continue working alongside its regional and international partners to advance shared strategic interests. The Italian Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs expressed his pleasure at the opportunity to meet HRH the Crown Prince, and noted the importance of exploring new avenues for collaboration between Italy and Bahrain. The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Shaikh Khaled bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
