HRH the Crown Prince meets the UK’s Minister of State for the Armed Forces

Manama, Oct. 3 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met the United Kingdom’s Minister of State for the Armed Forces, the Rt Hon Mark Lancaster TD MP, at Riffa Palace. HRH the Crown Prince underscored the two Kingdoms’ strong and multi-faceted partnership across various sectors, highlighting long-standing defence ties as a cornerstone of bilateral relations. HRH the Crown Prince reiterated Bahrain’s commitment to supporting regional security efforts and underscored the important role the United Kingdom plays in countering transnational terrorism and extremism that pose a threat to all. HRH the Crown Prince concluded by reaffirming his support for the strong and enduring strategic partnership, which is based on shared interests and commitments to the stability and prosperity of both Kingdoms. The Minister of Defence Affairs, Major-General Yusuf bin Ahmed bin Hussain Al-Jalahma, also attended the meeting.
