HRH Crown Prince meets US Secretary of Treasury, Senior Advisor to President

Manama, June 26 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met with the United States of America’s Secretary of the Treasury, the Honorable Steven Terner Mnuchin; and the Senior Advisor to the President of the United States of America, the Honorable Jared Kushner, on the sidelines of the Peace to Prosperity Workshop - hosted in partnership with the United States. During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince noted that the long-standing relations between Bahrain and the United States are built upon trust, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to global security. In this regard, HRH the Crown Prince welcomed the role of the US in promoting regional and international security, and emphasised the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation in all fields. The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
