HRH Crown Prince's directives lauded

Manama, Jan. 27 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal praised the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, and the resolution issued by the Cabinet today for the government to absorb the cost of the payable VAT incurred on water and electricity, without changing the current price of the tariffs for all users, effective from February 2020. She also lauded the resolution on unifying the date of disbursing all government subsidies to maximize citizens’ benefit from them and optimize the government’s services. The Representatives Council Speaker expressed deep-felt gratitude for the projects being implemented through cooperation between the executive and legislative branches, in line with the directives of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince to serve the nation and citizens as well as achieve the goals of the comprehensive development march spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Representatives Council Speaker underlined continuous cooperation between the legislative and executive branches, pointing out that the implementation of various development projects will always contribute to meeting people’s needs and aspirations. She also lauded the remarkable efforts of the government to ensure all precautionary measures are taken to prevent the Novel Coronavirus from reaching the Kingdom and ascertain of readiness of the national emergency scheme.
