HRH the Deputy King receives the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Manama, Dec. 21 (BNA): The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today received the Chairman of The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), HE Sameer Abdullah Nass, alongside a number of senior officials, at Riffa Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of strengthening the role of the private sector, and to ensure the sector's contributions to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Royal Highness noted that the government continues to strengthen its private sector partnerships through various projects and development plans that benefit the Kingdom and its citizens. His Royal Highness praised the BCCI’s role in supporting the Kingdom of Bahrain's development initiatives, and further enhancing the role of the private sector as the major driver of the Bahraini economy. His Royal Highness further highlighted the importance of continuing to work as one team in order to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom’s Economic Recovery Plan. His Royal Highness also noted that economic achievements, at all levels, require intensified efforts and grater solidarity, in order to create more promising opportunities for citizens across various fields. For his part, HE Nass expressed his thanks and appreciation for His Royal Highness’ commitment to enhance the contributions of the private sector to the Kingdom's sustainable development. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
