HRH Premier’s support for human resources praised by IFTDO

Manama, July 14 (BNA): The International Federation of Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO) has extended thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa for his multi-faceted support, adding that the Premier’s belief in the importance of investing in human resources has inspired many world leaders. This came as Assistant Undersecretary for Information and Follow-up at HRH Premier’s Court, and IFTDO Board Chairman, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Dossari, chaired IFTDO’s Board of Directors meeting in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The minutes of the meeting included, in its opening clauses, thanks to HRH the Prime Minister. During the meeting, IFTDO Secretary-General, Uddesh Kohli, quoted HRH Premier as saying during one of their meetings: "I am with you wherever you are to promote knowledge of the power of the human resources around the world." The board discussed IFTDO’s future strategy, including raising awareness on the importance of sustainable human development among some countries in Africa, Eastern Europe and Asia, as well as on the need to invest in the capabilities and skills of their citizens and build communities with inexhaustible resources through them. The meeting also agreed that the next IFTDO conference would be held in New Delhi, India.
