HRH Premier arrives in Bangkok for ACD Summit

Bangkok, Oct. 5 (BNA): On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today arrived in the Kingdom of Thailand leading the Kingdom of Bahrain's delegation to the second Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit to be hosted by the Thai capital, Bangkok, with the participation of a number of leaders and heads of governments and heads of delegations of the member states. HRH Prime Minister was welcomed at the airport by the Thai Deputy Prime Minister, Wissanu Krea-Ngam, Bahrain's Ambassador to Thailand, Adel Sater, and a number of senior Thai officials. In an arrival statement, HRH Prime Minister praised the depth of the Bahraini-Thai friendship and cooperation relations in various areas based on mutual understanding and coordination to further broaden aspects of cooperation in the interest of the two countries. HRH Premier highlighted the importance of the second ACD Summit in strengthening relations among Asian countries and boosting their capabilities to counter economic challenges experienced by the world.
