HRH Premier: Bahrain proud of its cooperation with Thailand

Manama, Feb. 24 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed that there are many promising opportunities to bolster Bahraini-Thai cooperation, and increase the volume of exchanged investment across various trade and economic sectors. This came as HRH the Prime Minister received, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, the Thai Ambassador to Bahrain, Thanis Na Songkhla, who introduced to him a trade delegation from the senior management of the Thai "BYK" company. HRH Premier welcomed the visit of the Thai trade delegation to kingdom, noting that it is within the framework of the distinguished relations of friendship and cooperation in various fields. The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral cooperation in various sectors, in light of the two countries’ keenness to strengthen areas of cooperation between them to serve their common interests. HRH Premier pointed out that the trade and investment fields are among the aspects of the successful cooperation between the two friendly countries, in light of their investment-stimulating elements. HRH Premier highlighted Bahrain’s keenness to provide all facilities that provide an appropriate environment that attracts different kinds of investments, in accordance with an economic vision based on the highest levels of openness and flexibility. The Prime Minister called on Bahraini businessmen to take advantage of the distinguished relations between the two countries, as well as the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between them to build investment and trade partnerships that benefit the two parties. HRH Premier underlined the importance of such visits and meetings in exploring the available cooperation opportunities, adding that Bahrain is proud of its solid cooperation with Thailand, and seeks to enhance it further. The Thai ambassador and trade delegation expressed deepest thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his remarkable role in boosting the friendship and cooperation ties between the two countries. They also lauded Bahrain’s secure and stimulating economic and investment atmosphere, as well as the progress boom it is witnessing in all fields.
