HRH Premier of Bahrain receives Indian delegation

Manama, (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace an Indian commercial and religious delegation headed by Ajmera company Board Chairman Rajnikant Shamalji Ajmera. He stressed Bahrain's active contribution throughout history to promoting interfaith and cultural dialogue out of a strong belief in its role to achieve global peace. He affirmed that these facts have turned Bahrain into a strategic option for foreign investments, pointing out the favourable climate and facilities provided by the government for investors. He also added that Bahrain and India share a common feature of being models of coexistence and religious pluralism which are based on a long history of tolerance. HRH the Premier praised religious pluralism in Bahrain which emanates from the spirit of tolerance which has ever characterised the Bahraini people. He hailed growing Indian investments in Bahrain through cooperation with the private sector, lauding long and deep-rooted historic relations between both countries which are based on mutual respect and keenness to build a strong model of cooperation to serve common interests. The Indian delegation praised the government's efforts, spearheaded by HRH the Premier, to boost foreign investments in Bahrain, lauding the investment and economic momentum in the kingdom. Meanwhile, the religious delegation expressed thanks and respect to HRH the Prime Minister for the care and support provided by the government to the Indian community, lauding religious freedom as well as cultural and intellectual pluralism in Bahrain and the kingdom's influential contribution to fostering interfaith and cultural dialogue.
