HRH Premier calls on Arabs, Muslims to put their weight behind Saudi Arabia

Manama, May 26 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has called Arabs and Muslims to put their weight behind sisterly Saudi Arabia, in the mist of the rapidly unfolding developments and dangerous challenges the region is currently witnessing. Under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and support of his Crown Prince, Saudi Arabia is the pillar of the Nation’s stability, the basis of its security and peace, and the main supporter for Arab and Islamic nations in the face of all challenges, HRH Premier said. HRH Premier stressed that what is going on in the region is a source of concern, and requires more consultation, coordination and high confidence in the ability of the leaders of the countries of the region to contain the looming risks. HRH the Prime Minister made the statements while receiving, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, Royal Family members and senior state officials, with whom he reviewed local and global issues. HRH Premier warned of social media accounts that disseminate false and fabricated news and try to spark sedition and sow divide, expressing confidence that the awareness of the Bahraini people and the cohesion of the internal front will foil the malicious goals of such accounts. The Prime Minister underlined the government’s keenness to ensure that all its development projects meet the citizens’ expectations, and are implemented according to the highest levels of quality and excellence to make people’s lives easier. HRH Premier lauded the contributions and dedication of Bahrainis at all levels, which, he said, has played a major role in enabling the kingdom to achieve progress in various sectors. HRH the Prime Minister urged concerted efforts in order to maintain the accomplishments of the nation and the gains of its people, emphasising that achieving the top national interests should be the ultimate goal for everyone. While tackling regional and global issues, HRH Premier stressed the importance of unified stances as the best means to face all regional challenges, adding that cooperation should be the basis for all efforts to build and develop the countries of the region for the best interests of their peoples. HRH the Prime Minister lauded the good efforts and initiatives of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to safeguard their countries’ security and stability. HRH Premier also commended the tremendous efforts exerted by GCC leaders to achieve the highest levels of progress and prosperity for their countries and peoples.
