HRH Premier calls for documenting national heritage

Manama, Apr. 26 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received a number of senior Royal Family members and senior state officials at the Gudaibiya Palace today. HRH Premier exchanged cordial talks with the audience on national issues. HRH the Prime Minister recalled the giving and dedication of the national work pioneers, stressing the need to preserve Bahrain's rich historical heritage to document it, on the one hand, and highlight the Bahraini people's authenticity and civilisation, as well as the role of the ancestors, on the other, in order to be known by the successive generations. Tackling Arab, regional and international developments, HRH Premier stressed the importance of Arab cohesion, rapprochement and cooperation to repel the targeting of Arab countries. Through unified stances and joint cooperation, Arab countries are capable of maintaining their cohesion and strength, HRH Premier said, calling for in-depth study of the events that the Arab states have gone, and draw lessons from them, especially those events that created conditions from which Arab countries are still suffering.
