HRH Premier: Citizens’ satisfaction ultimate goal

Manama, May 29 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed that the spiritual atmosphere and the spirit of affinity and affection that prevailed throughout the holy month of Ramadan reflect the strong ties that bind the people of Bahrain. “We pray to Allah the Almighty for many happy returns of such blessed days,” HRH Premier said. HRH Premier said that the atmosphere that prevailed during the holy month of Ramadan has contributed positively to consolidating the values of love and brotherhood within society. “We must adhere to this positive spirit and continue to invest in this spirituality in the holy month to strengthen the bonds of rapprochement and love,” he added. The Prime Minister expressed his sincere congratulations to the people of Bahrain and residents on the occasion of the advent of Eid Al Fitr, wishing the Arab and Islamic nations further prosperity and blessings, and everyone happiness and joy. HRH Premier affirmed that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has succeeded in putting in place an overall successful system that included all aspects necessary to preserve the country and its capabilities so as to continue the efforts of development and modernisation. “The government is continuing its efforts to implement many development programs that will positively affect the citizens’ life and ensure progress in various areas,” HRH Premier said, noting that the “people of Bahrain deserve a lot from us and that the citizens’ satisfaction is the indicator of the success of any service or developmental programme”. HRH the Prime Minister stressed that the citizen is the main criterion in determining priorities and arranging the schedule of government programmes. “Bahrain is moving towards the achievement of further development accomplishments,” he said. The Prime Minister stressed that he is keen to reach out to the needs of citizens through direct meetings with them, pointing out that all efforts of the government are focused on developing various services and providing the highest quality standards. HRH Premier stressed that “building the future is the challenge that concerns us in all our efforts to promote development of the homeland and to achieve the welfare for our citizens and our future generations.” HRH Premier said that the determination of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, will not dissuade it from achieving all that is good for the homeland and the citizens, stressing that the people of Bahrain, through successive generations of men and women, have been and will continue to have great impact on Bahrain's progress. “We are proud of such a conscious and enlightened people,” the Premier said, praising the pivotal role played by the press and media personnel in the march of national action and their contributions to the enlightenment of society. In this regard, he called for a rapid and constructive response to all that is published in the press. HRH Premier called on everyone to take part in completing the comprehensive development process taking place in the Kingdom, and to maintain and build on the achievements accomplished in various fields. On the three Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Arab and Islamic summits called for by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Makkah, HRH the Prime Minister affirmed that these summits reflect the wisdom and interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in consolidating stability and continuing the efforts of building and development for the benefit of Arab and Islamic peoples. The Prime Minister expressed his optimism about the success of these summits in achieving their goals in deepening Arab and Islamic solidarity thanks to the wise management of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The Prime Minister said that cooperation among Arab and Islamic countries preserves the nations’ integrity and strengthens their strength, stability and future. HRH Premier praised the pioneering leading role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to strengthen the bonds of joint Arab action, stressing that standing by Saudi Arabia in various circumstances is a national duty for the security and stability of the region and as the best means to ward off risks. “Saudi Arabia is the fortress of the nation and its shield,” HRH Premier said.
