HRH Premier congratulated by UN resident coordinator

Manama, Aug. 1 (BNA): UN Resident Coordinator in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Amin Al Sharqawi, said that the UN’s declaration of April 5 as the Universal Day of Conscience reflects the belief of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister in the importance of peace, security and stability to achieve development worldwide. Al Shaqawi in his cable congratulated HRH the Prime Minister and said that the UN’s adoption of the initiative of HRH the Prime Minister reflects his international stature, respect and appreciation as one of the world’s leading personalities. The UN resident coordinator congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and the Bahraini people on the kingdom’s grand international accomplishment. He explained that HRH the Prime Minister has provided all forms of support and assistance to the United Nations programmes which culminated in His Royal Highness’s obtaining many international awards and prizes the latest being His Royal Highness’s Award for Sustainable Development which was launched in 2018.
