HRH Premier congratulated on WHO honour

Manama, May 18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa on being chosen and honoured as a “World Leader” by the World Health Organisation (WHO). Shaikh Abdulrahman extended deepest congratulations to HRH the Prime Minister on the WHO honour, the first of its kind in the organisation’s history, describing it as a recognition of HRH the Premier’s efforts to develop the health sector and optimise services for all people in Bahrain. He noted that the well-deserved honour is a tribute to all Bahrain for the achievements brought about in various fields under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He added the honour also reflects the international respect for HRH the Premier’s pioneering role in leading the government work.
