HRH Premier hails Bahraini-Pakistani relations

Manama, Mar. 31 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, the Pakistani Ambassador to Bahrain, Afzaal Mahmood, and reviewed with him the two countries’ relations, and ways to enhance them to support their development efforts. HRH the Prime Minister lauded the steady progress of the Bahraini-Pakistani relations as a result of the interest of the two countries’ leaderships and keenness to open up wider horizons of joint cooperation that would benefit their development fields. HRH Premier expressed the kingdom’s interest in enhancing relations with Pakistan in various fields, through increasing joint investments and encouraging businessmen in the two countries to take advantage of their deep-rooted friendship and constructive cooperation, and build on them to boost their development efforts and benefit their friendly peoples. The Prime Minister praised the contributions of the Pakistani expatriate community to the kingdom’s development march. The Pakistani envoy expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH Premier for his interest in enhancing bilateral relations in various fields. He affirmed that his country is always looking forward to strengthening fields of cooperation with Bahrain in various fields, lauding the progress boom the kingdom is currently witnessing.
