HRH Premier lauds Bahrain-US relations' progress

Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed that the peoples of the region want to live in harmony and peace, and accept to co-exist with others harmoniously and cordially. This, coupled with a package of stimulating economic elements, lays solid foundations for trade and investment cooperation with various countries, he said. While receiving, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, the Houston City Mayor, Sylvester Turner, and his accompanying delegation, the Prime Minister highlighted Bahrain's keenness on enhancing the strategic economic cooperation with the US, including Houston City, in particular. HRH the Prime Minister lauded the long-standing solid Bahrain-US relations, expressing hope that those ties will be strengthened with the new US Administration. He affirmed keenness to broaden bilateral cooperation and coordination at all levels, particularly economy and investment, highlighting the importance of increasing communication between the two countries to deepen bilateral ties and achieve common interests. The Prime Minister reviewed with Houston City Mayor the solid Bahraini-US relations of cooperation and friendship, stressing the need to bolster them in various fields, especially in the economic field. HRH Premier highlighted the importance of bilateral meetings and exchanged visits between officials and businessmen in the two countries in opening up new cooperation horizons and reaching common understanding on ways to overcome global challenges. Mayor Sylvester Turner lauded HRH Premier's pioneering achievements in various fields, noting that they enhanced Bahrain's progress and prosperity. He affirmed the depth of the historical bilateral relations of friendship and common interests, praising HRH Premier's keenness on bolstering them in various fields.
