HRH Premier lauds solid ties with Oman

Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today paid a visit to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, at his residence here, and discussed with him ways to bolster cooperation between the two brotherly countries, as well as the latest regional and global developments. HRH the Prime Minister lauded the advanced level of the fruitful cooperation between the two countries, which, he said, reflects the depth of the fraternal ties between the two countries. The Prime Minister affirmed Bahrain's interest in enhancing cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman through opening up new areas of cooperation to for the best interests of the two countries and their peoples. HRH the Prime Minister expressed confidence that the 37th GCC Summit, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain, will contribute to upgrading joint GCC action in various fields. HRH Premier lauded the progress boom currently witnessed by Oman, under the leadership of HM Sultan Qaboos bin Said. The Omani Deputy Premier expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for the efforts he is making to develop joint GCC action, as well as his efforts to enhance Bahraini-Omani relations. He commended the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Bahrain to ensure the success of the 37th GCC Summit at all levels.
