HRH Premier praises Saudi Arabia's stances, role

Manama, Mar. 4 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed that sisterly Saudi Arabia is the first destination for Arab and Muslims, adding that it has preserved many Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Arab and Islamic countries from the evil intended against them. "Saudi Arabia is the land of goodness, and only the Good comes from it. It adopts only stances and policies that serve the interests of all, as it is assuming the responsibility of a whole nation," he said. The Prime Minister made the statements while receiving the Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, and his accompanying delegation, at the Gudaibiya Palace today. HRH Premier lauded the civilisational and progress boom currently witnessed by Saudi Arabia thanks to the forward-looking vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and that of the Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, to advance Saudi Arabia and all Arab countries, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect Saudi Arabia, and ensure the success of its leadership. The initiatives adopted by Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of King Salman, to unify Arab stances reflect its influential regional and global role, the Premier said. HRH Premier recalled the visit of King Salman to Bahrain, and its outstanding success, both at the official and popular levels, stressing that it was a historic visit that will remain engraved in the national memory. The Prime Minister lauded the depth of the ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, and their specificity, adding that Bahrainis, by nature, love Saudi Arabia, and its love has been instilled and strengthened in their hearts and minds throughout history. HRH Premier highlighted Bahrain’s keenness on strengthening cooperation and coordination with Saudi Arabia, and on creating more opportunities to develop bilateral cooperation in order to fulfill the aspirations of the two kingdoms and their brotherly peoples. Saudi Shura Council Speaker affirmed that HRH Premier is an outstanding model for unique leadership, knowledge, wisdom and love by people. He lauded the Prime Minister’s wise visions towards all regional and global issues, which, he said, embodies his long experience and multiple leadership skills. He praised the Prime Minister’s efforts to consolidate joint GCC action, and keenness on achieving rapprochement and interaction. The Saudi speaker expressed sincere appreciation to HRH Premier for his good feelings towards Saudi Arabia, which, he said, reflects the depth of the love and fraternity between the two countries’ leaderships and peoples. He praised the security and stability enjoyed by the Kingdom of Bahrain thanks to the efforts of its leadership, noting that the events witnessed by the kingdom, and the plots staged against it have never affected confidence in it thanks to its leaders, who have promoted stability nationwide.
