HRH Premier reaffirms keenness to achieve citizens aspirations

Manama, Feb. 21 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister re-emphasised support to everything that would serve the citizens' interest and the efforts to achieve their aspirations. HRH the Premier confirmed that all the government officials share the very goal of serving the citizens who are the pivot of government plans, adding that it is our duty and the core of our national responsibility to achieve the citizens’ aspirations in education, housing, healthcare and jobs. This came as His Royal Highness the Prime Minister received today several Members of Parliament (MPs) led by First Deputy Speaker Abdulnabi Salman at His Royal Highness’s palace in Riffa, and exchanged conversation with them on various national issues. During the audience, HRH the Premier reiterated that the Executive and the Legislative bodies share the same national goals and objectives to multiply the accomplishments and achieve the best interests of all citizens. HRH the Premier reiterated the government’s keenness on bolstering the Executive-Legislative cooperation and the spirit of understanding and harmony to address the issues concerning the citizens. His Royal Highness stressed that the cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities constitutes the key essential pillar to accelerate the momentum of Bahrain’s progress in the various fields. HRH the Prime Minister cited the active contribution of the Council of Representatives in the blessed national work march, and reemphasized that the government’s doors remain open for cooperation between both authorities to achieve the national interests. The lawmakers expressed their gratitude to His Royal Highness the Prime Minister for his continuous keenness in supporting effort that would enrich the governmental-parliamentary cooperation. They added that whenever they have raised any issue concerning their constituents, the MPs found that His Royal Highness so much enthusiastic to promptly implement such request more than themselves. The delegation members hailed His Royal Highness’s capable leadership of national development that made him stand out as the best role model for the Gulf and the Arab countries to emulate. They affirmed that the standing directives of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister to all the ministers and officials regarding cooperation with the legislature confirm the extent of his belief in the importance of the existing cooperation and partnership between the two authorities to boost Bahrain’s progress in the various sectors.
