HRH Premier receives Chinese ambassador

Manama, July 21 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain An Waer and discussed with him distinguished bilateral relations and ways of bolstering them. He also emphasised the importance of bolstering the Gulf-Chinese relations and open broader prospects for joint investment and commercial exchange. HRH the Premier underscored deep-rooted relations of cooperation between Bahrain and China and distinguished partnership mainly in the economic and investment field. He called to intensify visits between officials from both countries given their role in boosting bilateral coordination. He praised China’s technological development, urging stronger cooperation between both countries in this respect. The Chinese ambassador commended HRH the Premier’s role in cementing ties between China, Bahrain and the countries in the region. He underlined China’s keenness on security and stability in Bahrain and the whole region to provide a favourable atmosphere to promote trade and investment cooperation and serve common interests.
