HRH Premier receives Southern Governor

Manama, Mar. 6 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa urged the completion of the development, housing, educational and health projects in the Southern Governorate, stressing the need to ensure the sustainability of services and promote citizens’ wellbeing. He reiterated the Government’s keenness on promoting development projects countrywide and providing basic services, stressing the need to keep pace with citizens’ needs. This came as he received at Gudaibiya Palace Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa and other officials, who outlined ongoing development projects to meet the needs of citizens in cities and villages. The Premier said that the march of development has yielded landmark developments, adding that the Government works in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. He hailed the current momentum of development projects which providing the means of decent living conditions for citizens, citing particularly tourism and entertainment schemes which will attract investments to the Southern Governorate. He commended the efforts of the Southern Governorate to follow-up development projects, services, facilities and basic needs for citizens in different towns and villages. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa delivered a speech, on behalf of the Southern Governorate citizens, paying tribute to HRH the Premier for his follow-up and pivotal role in building modern Bahrain. He expressed delight at briefing HRH the Premier about development, infrastructure, housing, health and educational projects as well as planned future schemes. He stressed the Governorate keenness on implementing HRH the Premier’s directives to achieve wide-ranging development, praying to Allah the Almighty to bless him with abundant health and long life. He expressed deepest thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier, hailing his directives to carry out a string of service projects in the Southern Governorate.
