HRH Premier receives Thai delegation

Manama, Apr. 17 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at his palace in Riffa today a commercial delegation from Thailand comprising representatives of major specialised companies in many trade activities. He stressed Bahrain's keenness to boost cooperation with Thailand by maximizing ways of benefiting from the investment opportunities in both countries. He added that strong and deep-rooted historic relations between both countries are based on mutual understanding and a desire to bolster cooperation to serve common interests. HRH the Premier hailed the visit of the Thai delegation to Bahrain, stressing its importance in further promoting cooperation between the two friendly countries and establishing more economic and commercial partnerships. He underlined the importance of such visits in fostering cooperation, pointing out the key role of the private sector and businessmen in this respect. He called to further activate agreements and memoranda of understanding covering various areas, pointing out the numerous investment opportunities in both countries. He emphasised flexibility and openness characterising the investment climate in Bahrain, describing that as an incentive to further enhance cooperation with Thailand mainly in the industrial, food security, tourism and technological fields. The Thai delegation expressed thanks and respect to HRH the Prime Minister for his continuous support to boosting bilateral relations and cooperation. They expressed happiness about visiting Bahrain, lauding the kingdom's growth and prosperity at all levels.
