HRH Premier's prominent role lauded

Abu Dhabi, Jan. 16 (BNA): "The Emirati" newspaper editor, Mohammed Al Hammadi, has praised the prominent role and leverage of his Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister as one of the decisive leaders in the Gulf who have clear stances towards regional and international challenges." In his article titled "Decisive Men" published today, the editor said the keenness of HRH the Premier on meeting with Gulf editors-in-chief on the side-lines of their participation in the Gulf Press Union (GPU) meetings here in Manama and talking with them for about an hour, has its indications for all chief editors. Al Hammadi lauded the significance of HRH the Prime Minister's words to the one Gulf people, one Gulf geography, one Gulf history in the face of danger and challenges facing all Gulf people who should beware and take a collective measures; these words are indicative of the Gulf leadership's belief in their unionist project and their realization of the common surrounding challenges and hazards. The Emirati editor commended HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman's speech for his clear expression as he began with the word "Union" affirming the essential Arabian Gulf Union and naming the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) as a successful Arab unionist experiences to benefit from. The editor of the UAE-based daily said HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman did not overlook the role of the Press and the Media as the defensive frontline in confronting the challenges and risks, affirming that the responsible media realizes its role and shoulders its responsibilities, especially in crises times. HRH the Premier appreciated the plausible role of the Bahrain and the Gulf media over recent years as asserted by Gulf newspapers editors in their meeting yesterday and the continuity of the media undertaking its national and developmental role.
