HRH Princess Sabeeka congratulated on Arab honour

Manama, Feb. 7(BNA): Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President was congratulated by the participants in the meetings of the Arab League Woman's Committee and the UN woman's committee preparatory meeting on declaring Manama as Capital of Arab Woman for 2017. The participants congratulated HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa on being conferred the Arab Woman Medal by the Arab League, in recognition of her dedicated contributions and strenuous efforts to promote the status of Arab women. The participants hailed the dedicated efforts of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa to promote projects and programmes which aim at achieving women's sustainable progress and integrating their needs in development policies towards achieving equal opportunities. HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa received cables of congratulations from Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza, Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh, Shura Council Parliament Affairs Minister Ghanim bint Fadhl Al-Bouainain, Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa and other officials.
