HRH Princess Sabeeka congratulates Speaker on new legislative session

Manama, Oct. 12 (BNA): Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), has sent a cable of congratulations to the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, on the opening the third session of the Fifth Legislative Term by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. HRH Princess Sabeeka wished the speaker and the members of the Council of Representatives every success in assuming their national duties, and implementing the royal directives to achieve national interests and enrich the comprehensive development march the kingdom is currently witnessing. HRH Princess Sabeeka praised the speech delivered by the Speaker during the opening of the new session, appreciating her pride in the status reached by the Bahraini women in serving the nation. HRH Princess Sabeeka expressed thanks to the Speaker for praising the role played by the SCW to design the Bahraini model in integrating the needs and ambitions of Bahraini women in the national work process on the bases of gender balance and equal opportunities, making their performance a national success story with an international influence thanks to the constant support of HM King Hamad. HRH Princess Sabeeka hailed the Speaker’s appreciation of the role of Bahraini women in serving their nation.
