HRH Princess Sabeeka to patronise Art BAB 2017

Manama, Mar. 12 (BNA): Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), will patronise Bahrain's second fair for contemporary art which is set to be held from March 22 to 26 at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. The event, organised by Tamkeen under the theme "Art Bahrain Across Borders" (Art BAB) 2017, will represent a venue for artists and art houses from all over the world to showcase their artistic talents. The expo will also represent an unprecedented opportunity for Bahraini artists to display their artistic products for local, regional and international audience. It will also allow those talents to come into direct contact with local and international art communities in an ideal environment to learn, interact and exchange ideas and experiences. Art Bahrain Across Borders (Art BAB) is a culmination of the kingdom’s recent success stories in the realm of the arts, and builds on the momentum of last years’ international art exhibition. It is a paradigm of Tamkeen’s new strategic focus which centres on analysing the needs and growth potential of specific sub sectors and providing more tailored solutions to fuel their development.
