Human Rights Affairs Chief meets Egypt’s Foreign Ministry officials

Manama, Sep. 2 (BNA): The Chief of Human Rights Affairs, HE Ambassador Dr. Arwa Hassan El-Sayed, today met in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, with Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Human Rights, Social and International Humanitarian Affairs , Ambassador Alaa Roushdy, and Deputy Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for International Social and Humanitarian Issues, HE Ambassador Mahmoud Afifi. During the meeting, Dr. Arwa Al-Sayed gave an overview of the most important achievements and gains of the Kingdom of Bahrain in light of the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty’s unlimited support and attention to the promotion of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain in all fields. She praised the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt and their continuous coordination in the field of human rights and others. For his part, the Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister praised the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt in the human rights field at all local, regional and international levels and stressed the importance of both countries according to this file. The meeting also dealt with a number of areas related to bilateral cooperation between the two sides in the human rights field.
