Human rights institution role in Bahrain praised

Manama, Jan. 10 (BNA): Human rights institutions in Bahrain reflect the advanced democratic approach that the Kingdom is following during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs has said. These institutions play a major role in promoting and protecting human rights principles, based on the Constitution, the National Action Charter and a set of laws and legislations that are compatible with various international covenants and treaties related to human rights, Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak said as he received the deputy president of the National Institution for Human Rights Abdulaziz Al Shaer. Al Shaer hailed the role of the ministry in providing electricity and water to all citizens and residents, responding promptly to queries and in communicating directly with all customers.
