"I planted tree" campaign

Aktobe, 28 October 2008, (Khabar) - The employees of ENERSI corporation planted about 2000 trees in framework of ecological campaign.

New alleys
appeared at all enterprises of mining complex as workers and their children
planted the trees. The management of Aktobe plant of ferroalloys organized
the excursion for children in framework of ecological campaign. Pupil of 2nd
form Anuar Zhaimakov came to the job of his mother and planted the tree.
The ENERSI corporation also includes "TNK Kazkhrom", "Aluminum of
Kazakhstan", Eurasian Energy Corporation and other enterprises of mining
sphere. "I planted tree" campaign was held at all the enterprises
simultaneously. The organizers of campaign say they attracted children with
a special goal.

Sergey Borovskih, chief ecologist of Aktobe plant of ferroalloys:
- We want children to come and work here in future. We wanted to show them
ferrous metallurgy where their parents work, as this enterprise is
perspective and it invests much for purifying of our environment.

During one day the workers of corporation planted about 2 000 trees and
dozens of alleys and squares appeared on the territory of plants. The
management plans to hold such campaign regularly.
