Inclusion of women in national development highlighted

Manama Dec. 21 (BNA): Supreme Council of Women (SCW)'s Secretary General Hala Al Ansari has expressed gratitude and appreciation to all government agencies and the civil and private establishments marking the Bahraini Women's Day that reflects the Council's successful efforts in celebrating the Bahraini Women's Day on December 1 since 2008. Al Ansari praised the Kingdom's successful experience as all the ministries, directorates and organisations have completed the formation of their respective Equal Opportunity Units (EOUs) in compliance with the directives issued by the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) three years ago, the EOUs initiatives constitute the basic sinews within the framework of the activation of the National Model for inclusion of constructive strategic plans and programmes in the overall developmental process. Al Ansari cited the considerable quantity of special footages and pictures published this year as well as the volume of congratulations via WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and other social media on Bahraini Women's Day, asserting pride in the awareness and openness and support of Bahraini men to women. Bahrain Women's Day yearly recognizes the role and contributions of Bahraini mothers, sisters, housewives and working women as partners in the nation's development and prosperity.
