Indonesia's Senior Comedian "Djojon" Dies

Bogor, W Java, Mar 6 (Antara) - Indonesian senior comedian Djuhri Masdjan also known as Djojon died on Thursday in Ramsey Premier Hospital Jatinegara, Jakarta at 6:30 a.m., local time. The deceased will be taken to his home to Puri Pangeran Road No.3, Imperial Golf Estate Sentul City, Bogor. Djojon was reported to have died of a heart disease. "He was being treated in the hospital for several days," Djojon`s wife Bunda Henny clarified. Djojon was born on June 5, 1947 in Jakarta and started his career as a comedian around the 1970`s. He is a former member of the Jayakarta group along with Cahyo and Uuk. In the world of comedy, Djojon had always put on a Charlie Chaplin or Adolf Hitler-like mustache that had been his characteristic look since then.
