Industry Minister participates in GCC Trade Cooperation Committee

Geneva, June 12 (BNA): Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism Zayed Rashid Alzayani participated in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) preparatory meeting for the Trade Cooperation Committee on the sidelines of the 12th Ministerial World Trade Organization (WTO) Conference. Permanent Representative of Bahrain to the UN in Geneva Ambassador Yusuf Abdulkarim Bucheeri, and Domestic and Foreign Trade Assistant Undersecretary Shaikh Hamad bin Salman Al Khalifa, were present. The meeting discussed preparations for the 12th WTO Ministerial Conference held in Geneva on June 12-15. The meeting aims to draw up a unified position that serves the mutual interests of the GCC in the WTO.
