Industry Minister participates in GCC-UK meeting

Riyadh, June 22 (BNA): Minister of Industry and Commerce, Zayed R. Alzayani, Head of the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain, participated in the meeting between GCC Ministers of Commerce with the UK Secretary of State for International Trade, Anne-Marie Trevelyan. Held at the headquarters of the GCC Secretariat-General as part of the 62nd GCC Ministerial Committee Meeting, the meeting was attended by GCC Secretary-General, Dr. Nayef Falah M. Al-Hajraf, The meeting featured the signing of a joint statement by GCC Secretary-General Dr. Nayef Falah M. Al-Hajraf to launch free trade negotiations between the GCC countries and the UK. During the meeting, a number of topics of common concern and ways to develop and increase the volume of investments between the GCC and the UK were discussed in order to achieve mutual goals and visions.
